- "Uncommon Carriers" examines the quirky historical development of common carrier status and explains the FCC’s net neutrality enforcement failures. The paper won Grinnell College’s 2015 Baumann Prize for the exploration of ideas and society in an interdisciplinary context.
- "The Great Writ Wronged," a 2013 mentored advanced project under the supervision of Professor Wayne Moyer, examined the legal protection of habeas corpus throughout American history, including the War on Terror. Click here to view the presentation slides for the paper.
